ChelseaVital har bett sina medlemmar att svara på några frågor efter säsongen. Det här var mina svar:

1. Your Best Moment of the 2010 / 2011 season was?

Alex`s freekick against Arsenal. Emotionally it was when Torres finally scored his first goal.

2. Your Worst Moment of the 2010 / 2011 season was?

Too many to choose from. I would love to say the bad play all those games, but as the question states "moment" so I have narrow it down to either when learning Ray Wilkins was sacked (Carlo`s was too anticipated really, though the manner of his dismissal was shameful) or the first minute of the Man U game at OT.

3. Your Player of the Season was and why?

Petr Cech. Back as the Petr Cech before the injury. Solid, trustworthy, made a major number of great saves and saved the Chelsea behind many times. And needed to as the defence was hardly impressive in certain (too many) games.

4. Your underachiever of the season was and why?

Michael Essien. He looked good when he came back but after that stupid twofooter and the red card he never really showed up the rest of the season. Other contenders had at least some excuses. My biggest disappointment in a player must go to Florent Malouda who despite being our best scorer this season mainly played for himself and a contract extension instead for the best of the team.

5. Your tip for stardom next season?

David Luiz made a brilliant start, he can build on that. Daniel Sturridge with confidence from playing could make a difference. And you never know who else will join the roster. Josh McEachran might take the big step, but I would not rush him. I expect Drogba to keep on going and score freely again. Hopefully Torres will get confidence and start scoring and playing as we know he can. I have hope for many. But my tip for stardom is Chelsea FC.

6. Your defining moment of the season?

The Sunderland game. We were poor against Liverpool before, but the Sunderland game showed how really bad a squad of this talent and quality can be even against average opponents.

7. Do you believe we are at a defining moment in our history?

No. This was a blip.

8. How would you improve the current side?

Finding the right manager that can encourage and get the best out of the team/squad. That makes us to believe in them and them to believe in themselves. Better tactics in the big games and more than one kind of play, sideways at the midfield until the ball goes out to someone at the wings with the entire opposition waiting for the cross is obviously not working anymore all the time. Simply more than one gameplan (and with that I do not mean figure exercises of formations). Set pieces has to be improved, it was shameful how few goals we scored on corners as example. And please, when the game starts, please please please hopefully Chelsea will also start playing. No late concessions of goals that cost us plenty of points.

Buying and selling is not the answer though of course the normal amount of players coming and going will appear. Still the majority of the team is still there and must improve attitude, spirit and passion for the next year. The skill is there, luck is always needed and we did not have any this year, but maybe it is true that you have to deserve luck and this year the players did not.
